Having Empowerment for Actual Living” (HEAL) which later metamorphosed to Heal The Youth Foundation (HTYF) is a multiple award-winning, Nigerian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Non-profit Organization established in 2003. HTYF is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/NO: 18565) and has its Headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nigeria. In the two decades that HTYF has existed, it has established three (3) original initiatives:
1. The You-Skilled Program – a comprehensive flagship livelihood, enterprise, employability, and economic empowerment initiative developed by HTYF to respond to the rising vulnerabilities among youth especially women & adolescent girls, and underserved populations across Nigeria. Read More
2. Support A Child Initiative – a transformative initiative focusing on improving the health and wellbeing through maternal and child health, protection and essential healthcare services (RMNCAH+MN and OVC programming).
3. The Beyond Today Program – a capacity-building initiative that aims to enhance the organizational performance of public, private and civil society institutions for sustainable impact through digitization (automation), and innovation.
These have enabled HTYF to provide the needed support to 68,209 beneficiaries within 301 communities across 37 Local Government Areas/ Area Councils of Plateau, Enugu, Bauchi, and Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria (HTYF Impact Report 2019 – 2023). Of the 68,209 Nigerians who benefitted from interventions implemented through HTYF, 36% were Orphans and Vulnerable Children aged 0 – 18 years.

HTYF promotes the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities, and promote respect for their inherent dignity in line with Article 1 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
